Obituary

A funeral service for Wanda Denise McDaniel, 58, of Tuttle, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daniel Edwards officiating.

Wanda Denise Wilson was born December 3, 1967, in Hereford, Texas to Roy Wilson and Bonita (Ruf) Wilson. She passed peacefully from this life on Monday, May 11, 2026, in Tuttle, Oklahoma.

In 1998 Wanda met Gene McDaniel while they were both working at Delta Faucet in Chickasha. On May 25, 2002, she married Gene McDaniel in the Laverty Baptist Church, and they shared 24 years together.

In 2006 they both moved to Tennessee where they worked for Delta Faucet. In 2020 they returned to Oklahoma where they made a home in Tuttle.

Wanda loved to do arts and crafts, paint, plant in her garden, and tend to her flower beds. She also enjoyed helping Gene. One year they made thirty-two cornhole boards and she was responsible to make sure each one was just perfect.

Wanda was a very loving and caring person; she cherished her time with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy and her mother Shirley and two brothers, James Wilson and Jerry White.

Loved ones left to remember Wanda are her husband, Gene McDaniel of the home; daughter and spouse, Meghan and Derrek Stumpf of Chickasha; son and spouse, Zachery and Samantha McDaniel of Manhattan, Kansas; mother, Bonita Ruf of Shattuck; siblings; Jeff White of Arizona, Tony Wilson of Swink, R.L. Wilson of Elgin, Melinda Rambo of Chickasha, and Kimberly Ruf of Gage; grandchildren, Braylynne, Natalie, Weston, and Olivia and other extended family and friends.

Viewing for Wanda will be on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Ferguson Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Wanda will be cremated following her funeral service on Friday. Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
