A memorial service for Tom Frailey, 74, of Chickasha, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Tom Allen Frailey was born July 1, 1951, in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Raymond Lloyd Frailey and Bertha Frances (Stehno) Frailey. He passed from this life Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Tom grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1969. He graduated from Central State University (UCO) in 1973 earning a bachelor’s with a major in business and a minor in psychology. And in 1976, he received a Juris Doctor from OU Law School.
On March 15, 1968, he married Jackie Yeargin, and they shared over 57 wonderful years together.
Tom began his internship at Vaughn, Stack, and Huckaby in 1975, eventually settling in Chickasha and later becoming partner, retiring in July 2017. He was the Chickasha City Attorney for over 40 years and also served as the City Attorney for Marlow, Comanche, Rush Springs and Alex. He was a Bar Examiner, creating a question for the Bar Exam and grading that question.
Tom was a quiet man that loved his family. He enjoyed time spent at their lake house, fishing and hunting. He loved playing and watching golf. He loved his dog Emmy and taking her for rides in his golf cart.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his in-laws Kent and Lona Yeargin.
Loved ones left to remember him are his wife, Jackie of the home; daughter Monica Roberts and husband Shawn of Tennessee; daughter Michelle Lambert and husband Michael of Oklahoma City; grandchildren and their spouses Katelyn Roberts, Karsyn and Tyler Randolph, Ashlynn and Chase Shelton, and Gage Lambert; close friends Mike and Darlene Crawford; and other extended family and friends.
The service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
