A Celebration of Life for Tewanna Sueann Irvin, 48, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Rock Island Depot, with a reception to follow.

Tewanna Sueann Irvin was born a twin on May 9, 1977, in Lawton, Oklahoma to Randy Randolph Whiteshield and Portia Jean Anderson. She passed from this life on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones.

She grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Putnam City West in Bethany in 1996. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from USAO and also in 2003 she earned another degree with a major in Meetings in Advanced Management in PI from OU. She worked as a Senior Assistant Analyst with Pratt & Whitney, an aircraft engine manufacturing company.

She married Justin Brian Irvin and to this union her son Matthew Dylan Irvin was born.

Tewanna was a runner and ran marathons. She loved volunteering for humanitarian needs, such as Habitat for Humanity, and community food banks. She enjoyed family vacations with her twin Aurelia and their children. She was a wonderful, kind and gentle soul with a witty sense of humor. She had high-class taste, had a contagious laugh with the most beautiful smile. She gave the best gifts.

She was preceded in death by her father Randy Whiteshield and sister Pam Whiteshield.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her son Matthew “Dylan” Irvin of Chickasha; mother Portia Anderson of Arkansas; twin sister Aurelia Chaney and partner Brandon Hightower of Chickasha; nephew Daniel Chaney and his wife Morgan; niece Kennedy Hightower; 2nd Mom, Tewanna Edwards; siblings Wendy Whiteshield, Randy Whiteshield-Beartrack, Elaine Whiteshield, Natalie Whiteshield, LaDonna Narcomey, Sheryl Whiteshield, Daphne Laquement, Shawn Silverhorn; many nieces and nephews; many loving cousins, including her favorite Tiffany Gouge; and other extended family and friends.

The Celebration of Life and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
