Sinjin David Moore

A funeral service for Sinjin David Moore, 31, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2025 at NewSong Church of God with Pastor Chuck Davis officiating.

Sinjin David Moore was born July 6, 1994, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Moore and Kelly (Roath) Moore. He passed from this life unexpectedly on Monday, July 14, 2025, in Ames, Iowa.

Sinjin grew up in Chickasha. He attended Pioneer School through the 8th grade and graduated from Chickasha High School in 2012.

He had worked for Billy Sims, had been a partner with Moore Family Construction, and had worked for the City of Chickasha. He loved music, listening to Green Day and Blink 182, writing songs, and playing the guitar. He was currently attending the LA Film School for Audio Engineering.

Sinjin cared for others above himself. He was a generous, respectful, loving, and forgiving young man with a tender heart. He loved his family deeply.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mildred O’Neal, Henry Moore, Phyllis Dutton, Butch Roath and Sharon Roath; uncles Kyle Moore, David Roath, and Rusty Roath; cousins Josh Moore and Oscar Moore.

Loved ones left to remember him are his father and step-mother Robert and Rhonda Moore of Chickasha; mother Kelly Moore of Enid; girlfriend Lana Alcorn of Chickasha; aunts and uncles Kalenda Krone, Carolyn Kirkland, Susan Christian, Anna Faye Moore, Linda Moore, Mary Rowe, James Moore, Lane Roath, and Allen Auld; cousins Cherry, Toby, Orville, Brandy, Mary Ann, Betty, Tracy, Little Kyle, Andrew, Eric, Kim, Erica, and Katie; and other extended family and friends.

Viewing for Sinjin will be held on Sunday, July 20th at Ferguson Funeral Home from 2:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
