Obituary

A funeral service for Sandra Joyce Foster, 70, of Rush Springs, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Sandra Joyce (Inman) Foster was born March 19, 1956, in Santa Rosa, California, to Charles Lee Inman and Mary Ellen (Hensley) Inman. She passed from this life on Monday, August 17, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Sandy grew up in Hickman, California and attended Houghson High School, and later went back to school and graduated in 1986.

On March 24, 1973, she married Bobby Lee Foster in Waterford, California and they shared 53 years together, raising two sons Phillip Lee Foster and Thomas William Foster.

She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and antiquing. In her youth, she enjoyed playing softball, coaching softball, bowling, square dancing and Bingo. Sandy enjoyed all her family and lived life to the fullest; she especially loved hanging out with her grandchildren. She will be greatly and lovingly missed.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father Charles Lee Inman, mother Mary Ellen (Hensly) Inman, step-mother Lettie Fern Matthews, brother Phillip Lee Inman, great-nephew Kody Lee Gibson, father-in-law William "Tom" Thomas Foster, mother-in-law Ann Marie (Bancroft) Foster, sisters-in-law Karen Marie Foster Benzinger and Margaret Hampton Foster.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her husband Bobby Lee Foster; son Phillip Lee Foster; son Thomas William Foster and wife Kimberly Foster, six grandchildren Betty Ann, Kelli Rachel, Trinton Dewayne, Addison Marie, Averi Jane, and Kenzie Renee; two great-grandchildren Parson Ray and Julianna Rayanne; and other extended family and friends.

The service and cremation arrangements following the service are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
