A funeral service for Ronald Dale Bennett, 58, of Oklahoma City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, Chickasha, Oklahoma with Reverend Kyle Crow officiating.
Ronald Dale Bennett was born March 9, 1968, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He is the son of Richard Wayne Bennett and Janet Sue (Williams) Corbin. He passed from this life on April 5, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ronald grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1986. He worked for Supersaver IGA and Homeland as an assistant manager while attending USAO, majoring in Business.
After graduation, he moved to the Oklahoma City area and worked as a salesman for Multimedia Cablevision, Cox Communications, AT&T, and Trugreen.
Ronald was raised in a Christian home, attending services at Assembly of God Church, where his relative Larry Hatfield was the minister and Ronald was the grandson of a Baptist minister. The people that knew Ronald, saw him as polite, well-reserved, funny and giving.
He met the love of his life, Tammy, on a dating site in July 2006 and they were married May 6, 2007 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They made their home in Moore and Oklahoma City and attended the Moore Baptist Church and Council Road Baptist Church. They enjoyed traveling, taking trips to Las Vegas, The Catskills Mountains in New York, Niagara Falls, Canada, and the Southern Caribbean on a Carnival cruise. They also enjoyed attending music concerts. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and the OU Sooners. He was often called the “King of Facebook.”
He was preceded in death by his father Richard Bennett.
Loved ones left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy of the home; mother Janet Corbin of Chickasha, brother Robert Bennett of Enid and wife Kimberly; step-brothers and step-sisters, James Corbin of Arlington, Texas, Connie and Larry Null of Chickasha, Valerie and Randy White of Sterling, Michael and Tess Corbin of Cameron, North Carolina, Lori and Russell Phillips of Comanche, and other extended family and friends.
Viewing for Ronald will be held at Ferguson Funeral Home on Friday, April 10th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
Interment in Rush Springs Cemetery, located in Rush Springs, Oklahoma, will be under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
