A memorial service for Quintin Roy Smitherman will be held on Friday, May 29th, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, 804 W. Utah Ave., Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Quintin Roy Smitherman passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at the age of 63, following a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was a proud member of Beta Theta Pi at Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1985. He went on to dedicate many years of his career as an IT Director at B.T. I. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, landscaping, and playing instruments, along with cheering on Oklahoma State Cowboys.

Quintin will be remembered for his strength, sense of humor, unwavering devotion to his family and to God, and for the love he shared with everyone around him.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sudi Smitherman Johnson and Deirdre Smitherman Nixon, mother Jane Ellen Smitherman, and father William Joseph Smitherman.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Smitherman; daughters Erin Smitherman and Evyn Smitherman Willis and son-in-law Brandon Willis; brothers Rex Smitherman and Jason Smitherman; along with many other loved ones.

The service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home with inurnment in Rose Hill Cemetery by the family.
