Marco Antonio
Castro, Jr.
Mar 24, 2008 — Aug 4, 2026
Chickasha
A Celebration of Life for Marco Antonio Castro, Jr., 18 years old, will be held by family and friends at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Chickasha with the pastor of Hope Tabernacle, Patrick DeLana, officiating the service.
Marco Antonio Castro, Jr. was born March 24, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and is now walking with Jesus.
Marco was an organ donor and made a huge difference in the lives of 16 recipients. On Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. there was an Honor Walk for him at OU Medical Center.
Marco grew up in Chickasha and graduated from CHS just this past May. He was an avid athlete and participated in football, powerlifting and tennis. He loved football and started playing around the 6th grade through his Senior year.
He has always had a love for the Lord and several churches in the area were there for him as he established his faith. Most recently, he attended at Hope Tabernacle, where he grew in the Lord and his desire to love people like Jesus. Marco faithfully and enthusiastically served as an usher, on the Media Team, and was very involved with the Youth.
In honor of his grandmothers, Marco loved ducks and the color pink and it showed his quirky personality. He was very funny, a loyal friend, and had a positive outlook on life. He loved spending time with loved ones and he was the best brother to his sisters.
Marco was the fiancé of Karmen Dearman; the brother of Isabellah Willoughby, Marcia Luna, Sonia Garcia, Alex Garcia, Rita Garcia; an honorary sibling to Danielle Akins, Jonathon Akins, and Cheyenne Chavedo; the father of J.A.C.; the uncle to Elias Perez, Anthony Moises, Evelyn Amos, Novie Blakes, Jericho Akins, Jiraiya Akins, and Warren Chavedo; the nephew of Louis and Sarah Ferrell; the grandson of Betty Ferrell, Rita Hair, and Russell and Vanessa Ferrell. Marco was a blessing to many families in the Chickasha Community, was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Go Fund Me account set up in honor of Marco: https://gofund.me/54f32a544
