A funeral service for Lynnette Marie Rozela, 80, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Cement First Baptist Church with Pastor Casey Fine and Walt Pearcy officiating.
Lynnette Marie (Karasiewicz) Rozela was born November 21, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Robert Zarbeck, Sr. and Julia (Roberts) Martin. She passed from this life at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Lynnette grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As an adult, she spent her younger years living in various towns throughout Michigan. Around June 1980, she and her family were headed to Texas and travelling through Oklahoma when their car broke down and they found refuge at the Wichita Mountain Refuge, making Oklahoma their home. They lived in Lawton and surrounding towns for several years then settled in Chickasha.
Throughout different occupations, she was always helping provide for her children, but her heart was at home. She loved being at home and taking care of the family. She was very quick witted, sassy and loved making others feel comfortable and safe. She was kind, helped others and was a great storyteller. She loved her friends and they would spend late nights playing Farkle and Phase 10. In her younger years, she enjoyed crocheting. Lynnette was a very creative, funny, and onery lady; stern but very fair and loving. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers Kenny, Tony, and Robert Jr.; and her granddaughter Ashley “Meekers” Pixley.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her children Roman and wife Teresa of Plainwell, Michigan, John and wife Jennifer of Wilburton, Tyleishia-Faune and Cooke of Cookietown, Oklahoma and Michelle of Chickasha, Oklahoma; added blessings Tracy, Donnie, Kathy, Louis and wife Sara; brother Gary and wife Mary of Marne, Michigan; grandchildren Tiara, Tyler, Travis, Trever, Dalton, Rayven, Phoebe, Amberess, Merrissa, Andrew, Mikayla, Berlynn and Jennie, Keiser, Tempest-Faune, Olivia, and Roman; numerous great-grandchildren; and a multitude of other extended family and friends.
Viewing for Lynnette will be at Ferguson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 5th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
The service and cremation arrangements, following the service, are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
