A funeral service for Lisa Lynn (Shinton) Clark, 48, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Vital Church with Pastor Kevin Quinones officiating.
Lisa Lynn Clark was born September 19, 1977, in Fresno California. She was the daughter of Ricky Charles Shinton and Debra Lee (Harp) Gordon. She passed from this life unexpectedly on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at her home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Lisa grew up in Chowchilla, California and moved to Dibble with her family in the early 90’s. She played softball in high school and graduated from Dibble in 1996.
She had her son Trey, who gave great meaning to her life and whom she loved dearly.
Lisa worked in nursing, becoming a CNA. She worked at Glenhaven Retirement Village for many years, working hard and earning her accreditation as a social worker with Glenhaven for the past 16 years.
She was a faithful member of Vital Church and was extremely involved. She loved antiquing, estate sales, and garage sales; she had high-class taste on a budget. Lisa enjoyed a day out getting her nails done.
She loved her cats and they were her babies. She was outgoing, funny, vibrant and beautiful, when she walked into a room her warmth was like the sunshine. She was so encouraging that being around her made you want to be the best person. She loved spending time with and spoiling her two grandsons, Kaiden and Jax.
Lisa was preceded in death by both parents, Ricky Charles Shinton and Debra Lee (Harp) Gordon, and an uncle Harold “Mickey” Edward Harp.
Loved ones left to cherish her are her son Trey Kelly and wife Cristie of Chickasha; grandsons Kaiden Troy Sherwood and Jax Allen Sherwood; sister Jamie Kelly and husband Thomas Walck; brother Shawn Shinton and wife Tish; nieces Tori Shinton and Ashley Kelly; nephews Shawn Kelly and Carson Kelly; uncle Dale Edward Harp; other nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
A viewing for Lisa will be at Ferguson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with family present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family is requesting floral arrangements or plants be purchased from Alex Florist.
The service and cremation arrangements to follow are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
