Obituary

Kay Elliott Weyneth White, 83, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, entered into eternal rest on the morning of December 11, 2025. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Vital Church, 102 E. Almar Drive in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Born on October 19, 1942, to Rollin Randolph “Sleepy” and Edith (Roye) Henderson. Kay grew up in Noble, Oklahoma, where she attended school and built lifelong friendships.

Kay’s life was marked by love, faith, and service. She married John Berry Elliott on July 2, 1960, and shared cherished years with him until his passing on January 25, 1976. She later married David Leigh Weyneth on November 5, 1976, and they remained devoted partners until his passing on April 20, 1997. On September 24, 2011, Kay married Clyde Gene White, with whom she shared her later years until his passing on August 30, 2023.

A gifted florist, Kay worked in both the retail and wholesale floral industry, bringing beauty and joy to countless lives through her artistry. Beyond her profession, she was an ordained minister, devoted to her faith and to sharing the love of the Lord. She found her greatest joy in prayer, fellowship, and spending time with her family and friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, daughters Renee Breon and Tammy Elliott; her brother Randy Henderson; and sisters Wynona Cottengim and Barbara Gray.

Kay’s memory will be cherished by her survivors: Daughter Robin Bilyeu and husband Kevin of Scottsdale, AZ; stepchildren Sally Thomas and Marilyn Eddy both of Myrtle Beach, SC; Michael Weyneth of New York City; Darrell White and wife Mary, Sheila Mosley and husband Mike, Gregory White and wife Beverly, and Brian White and wife Jamie, all of Chickasha, OK. Grandchildren: Brandon Breon and wife Angela of San Francisco, CA; Blake Breon of New York City; Seth Elliott and wife Amanda of Franklin, TN; Lindsey Elliott of Santa Monica, CA; Brittni Bilyeu of Norman, OK; Shane Bilyeu of Scottsdale, AZ; Ashleyanne Murray and husband Garrett, and Triston Thomas, all of Myrtle Beach SC; John Fowler, of Greenville, SC; Amy Karr of Meeker, OK; Tanner White of Harrah, OK; Kayla Hay, Jordan Nash, Joshua White, Briar White, Jacie White, and Anna Mosley, all of Chickasha, OK. Her sister Janice Prosise of Kingsland, TX. and great-grandchildren: Graysen and Carson Elliott, Luca Breon, Addison, Cameron, Kenlie, and Kallie Murray, and Kal-El Fowler, along with 14 additional cherished great-grandchildren she lovingly embraced when she married Clyde, and many other beloved relatives and close friends.

Kay’s life was a testament to faith, resilience, and love. She will be remembered for her devotion to the Lord, her generosity of spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Viewing for Kay will be at Ferguson Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 16th from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the family present to receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
