A graveside memorial service for Judith Ann Cole, 81, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in Rose Hill Cemetery with Epworth Pastor, Steve Taylor, officiating.

Judy Cole passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on June 10, 1945, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the youngest of 4 children, the older 3 got to choose her name.

Judy was always full of energy. She water-skied, played tennis and softball, and loved Sooner football. She enjoyed playing games and cards, especially Bridge. She loved the out-of-doors and a joy for her was fishing for striped bass especially on the Illinois River just below the Tenkiller Dam. She caught a few 30 pounders, and she was proud to show off pictures of her and the big fish.

She adored her pets and they were very special to her; you might say they were spoiled. She advocated for lost pets and even adopted her pet, Joey, to keep him from being put down.

She was preceded in death by her parents Loyd and Reba Cole, brother Jerry Cole, and sisters Janelle Kendall and Janice Wheling.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Stockbridge and Jennifer Garner of Oklahoma City; nephews and niece, Jerry Osborn, Jeff Kendall, and Lisa Ramsey, all of Chickasha, Brett Cole of OKC, and Greg Cole of Scottsdale AZ; and sister-in-law Roylin Cole.

Judy graduated from Chickasha High School in the class of 1963. Later she received a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and became a CPA. She had her own accounting office and later was the controller of a corporation before retiring and moving back to Chickasha to be near family.

The inurnment at Rose Hill Cemetery is under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
