Private family services will be held for Judy Ann Giffert, 77, of Blanchard.

Judy Ann (Hart) Giffert was born on August 21, 1940 in Warren, Ohio to Robert Frank Hart and Meda Jeanette (Sheppard) Hart. She died on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Blanchard, Oklahoma.

Judy grew up in Duncan, attending Duncan Public Schools.

She was a homemaker most of her life, raising her children and she liked traveling and gardening.

Judy was preceded in death by both parents.

She is survived by her children, Sheryl Smith, Gary Smith, Bryan Smith, Jayme Kriegel, and Ericka Encinias; sister, Sandra Idom; grandchildren, John Lewellen, Meda Lewellen, Sarah Encinias, Daniel “DJ” Encinias, and Emily Encinias; great-grandchildren, Hayden Lewellen, Lauren Lewellen, Hanna Cabeen, and Charlotte Cabeen; and other extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
