A private memorial service will be held by the family for Johnnie Kay Moyer, 82, of Ninnekah.

Johnnie Kay Moyer was born September 1, 1943, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of John L. Sullivan and Katrina Jane (Clark) Sullivan. She passed from this life on March 20, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her family.

Johnnie grew up in California and Chickasha. She enjoyed gardening in her flower beds working in her yard. She was employed at the Grady County Sheriff Department for over 20 years. She earned the position of Undersheriff until her retirement then she started her own business, Star Touch Massage and worked as a massage therapist.

She loved her family and her dogs, Sandy and Rowdy very much.

She was preceded in death by both parents and sisters WyLene “Fanny” McCoy and Ladita “Dee” Meadors.

Loved ones left to cherish her memories are sons, John Moyer and Valeria Ross of Anadarko, Noel Moyer of New York, and Brian Moyer of California; daughter Diane Lucas of Ninnekah; grandchildren; Naomi Dietrich of Ninnekah, Jessica Lucas of Oklahoma City, Edward and spouse, Tiffany Moyer of Chickasha and Daniel Lucas of Oklahoma City; and seven great grandkids and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
