Memorial services for James Chris Moore, 56, of Ninnekah, will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday June 5, 2016 at the Ninnekah Cemetery in Ninnekah, Oklahoma

James Chris Moore was born on October 26, 1959 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the son of Kathryn (Berry) Bayne and James Vernon Moore. He died on Thursday, May 5, 2016 near Medicine Park, Oklahoma.

Chris graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1976 and attended Cameron University. He worked briefly as a roughneck then went on to becoming a welder in the oilfield and a steelwork fabricator.

He married Mary Anne Derrico and from this union his three sons, Zack, Cody and Travis, were born.

Chris liked to hunt and fish. He was a skilled welder and could fabricate anything without any blueprints.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.V. Moore; girlfriend, Crissty Kay Ward; brother, Aaron Dale Moore; grandparents, Maxine and Murray Moore; grandfather, Dude Berry; and grandmother, Grace Campbell.

He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Bayne and Neal Hawthorne, of Ninnekah; sons and their wives, Zachary and Kate Moore of Lawton, Cody and Lauryn Moore of Marlow and James Travis and Cristina Moore of Fletcher; grandsons, Carson, Daxton, Slayton, James Kase and Brett Moore; sister, Lisa Prentiss and husband, Kent, of Sayre; nephew, Brandon Miller and wife, Chelsea; nieces, Summer Prentiss and Nena Morgan; sister-in-law, Rhonda Moore; numerous great nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home
