A funeral service for Orgal Glenndale McConnell, 69, of Chickasha, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, in New Home Full Gospel Church, 10305 St Hwy 39, Blanchard, OK with Pastor Jerry Auld officiating.

Orgal Glenndale McConnell, known by all as Glenn, was born July 5, 1956, in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Grady Griff McConnell and Martha Mae (Capps) McConnell. He passed from this life Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his home in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Glenn grew up and lived in the Chickasha area all of his life. He was one of 13 children and the family moved around a lot working.

On February 16, 1980, he married Charlotte Lavonne Pool, and they shared 45 years of life together.

He owned and operated many business ventures, including auto sales, real estate, cattle and horses, and trucking. He loved working hard and looking after his family and friends. Glenn was onery and liked to pester. He loved to help people. He enjoyed refurbishing old cars and trucks and loved working with the cows and mess with the tractors.

He was preceded in death by both parents Grady and Martha McConnell; son Travis Allen McConnell; three brothers Grady McConnell, Jr., Jerry McConnell, and Charly McConnell; five sisters Mildred Tillman, Edith, Janette Doss, Donnis Gregory, and Margarette Cunningham.

Loved ones left to remember Glenn are his wife, Charlotte of the home; sons Orgal Glenndale McConnell, Jr “Roscoe” and wife Megan of Chickasha and Shaune Dale McConnell “Dumbass” of Chickasha; daughter Lisa Mae Marie West of Amber; sisters Laverne Selby of Chickasha and Wanda Davidson of Newalla; brothers Lewis McConnell of Dibble and Ray McConnell of Moore-Norman; five grandchildren Reanna, Cheyenne, Skyla, Shaune Dale Jr. “Fuzzy”, and Sebastian James; two great-grandchildren Memphis and Teyo; and other family and friends.

Viewing for Glenn will be held Thursday, November 13th at Ferguson Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
