A funeral service for Elaine Faye Nightingale, 72, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 03, 2026, in the Plainview Mennonite Church with Robert Schmidt and Johnny Schmidt officiating.

Elaine Faye Nightingale was born February 16, 1953, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Lavern and Ada Nightingale. She passed from this life on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Elaine grew up on the family farm, west of Chickasha. She attended Pioneer School for eight years.

She loved the outdoors and her artistic ability showed when she learned to crochet and knit.

Singing was a big part of her family life which she enjoyed so very much.

Her prayer life was so meaningful to her.

Later in life her health hindered her ability from doing and enjoying the things she would have loved doing.

She was preceded in death by both her parents.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her sister, Cheryl Ann Nightingale of Chickasha; brother Galen Nightingale and wife, Linda, of De Ridder, Louisiana, brother, Orie Nightingale and wife Myrna, of Farwell, Texas and brother Don Nightingale and wife Joanne of De Ridder, Louisianna and many other extended family and friends.

Interment will be in Plainview Mennonite Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
