Donald Riley

A funeral service for Don Riley, 88, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, at Vital Church with Reverend Paul Knight officiating. 

Don Riley was born July 26th,1936, in Dixie, Ok to Oscar and Myrtle Riley. He passed from this life on June 21st, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma surrounded by his family.

Don was raised in the Ringling area and graduated from Mountain Home School. Don married Janice Bachelder on February 14th, 1958, and from this union their two children were born. Don joined the National Guard in 1958. He worked as a depot agent and a real estate appraiser.

Don and Jan shared 67 wonderful years together and they enjoyed traveling. Don was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, and he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

Loved ones left to remember him are his wife Jan of the home, daughter Robin Savage of Gracemont, Oklahoma; Shawn and wife Robbin Riley from OKC. 3 grandchildren-Eric and Stephanie Jervis, Jessica Jervis and Alese and Reed Allen and 8 great-grandchildren.

Viewing for Don Riley will be at Ferguson Funeral Home Tuesday June 24th from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with family present to receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.

Interment will be a Fairlawn Cemetery located in Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
