Private family services will be held for Diana Marie Corning, 68, of Chickasha.

Diana Marie Corning was born July 10, 1947 in Juneau, Alaska, the daughter of Jay and Val (Carriker) Eller. She died Friday, August 28, 2015 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Diana grew up and graduated high school in Sacramento, California. In 1965, she married Daryl Anderson and to this union their three children, Brien, David, and Colleen, were born.

She worked in a commercial real estate office for ten years, but for the majority of her life she raised her family and stayed at home.

In the late 1980’s, she married Joseph Corning. They moved to Chickasha around 2001 to be closer to some of her grandchildren. Once here, she worked for Gabriel for about ten years.

Diana loved canning, gardening, and making quilts.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her husband, Joseph.

Survivors include her son, Brien Anderson, of Sacramento, California; son, David Anderson, of Chickasha; daughter, Colleen Anderson, of Roseburg, Oregon; mother, Val Eller, of Sacramento, California; three sisters, Sue Boylan, Andy Moscow, Val (Eller); brother, Rick Eller; seven grandchildren and other extended family and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
