The family of Cora Runette Jenkins, 85, of Chickasha will hold a memorial service for her on November 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Sharon Baptist Church with James Jenkins II officiating.

Cora Runette (Price) Jenkins was born April 18, 1940, in Sylacauga, Alabama, the daughter of Leon Price and Pearl (Morris) Price. She passed from this life on October 18, 2025, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Cora grew up in Sylacauga, Alabama. She met and married the love of her life Gerald Jenkins. Gerald was a First Sergeant in the United State Army and Cora loved to talk about her time they got to spend in Germany. Cora worked at several places as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, but her true joy was being able to stay home and spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Cora was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Jenkins; son, Johnny Leon Jenkins; daughter, Sandy Robinson; father, Leon Price; mother, Pearl Price; sisters, Leonar Richardson, Frances Goodenough, and Eloise Price; brother, Earl Price; and grandson, James Luther Hayes.

Loved ones left to remember her are his son, James Jenkins and wife Brenda Jenkins; sister, Betty Paravicinni and husband Joe; granddaughters, Christina Johnson and husband Gary, Kathy Thompson, and Rainbow Wilson and husband Tyler; grandsons, James Jenkins II and wife Lacy, and Cory Jenkins and wife Karissa; and numerous great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
