A memorial service for Cindy Jean King, 63, of Chickasha will be held Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Cindy Jean (Looney) King was born on January 17, 1963, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edwin C. Looney and Nina (Ferrell) Looney. She passed from this life on June 14, 2026, in Chickasha.

She grew up in Chickasha, Oklahoma and graduated from Chickasha High School in 1981. Cindy married the love of her life, Michael Joel King on November 9, 1984 in Chickasha and they loved each other for over thirty-two years. She enjoyed sewing and knitting for charities and enjoyed giving creations to the elderly and to babies. She was very ornery and stubborn just like her father. She loved spending time and making memories with her children and grandchildren.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Looney and husband, Michael King.

Loved ones left to treasure her memories are her daughters, Brandie Parker and husband Jeremy of Chickasha Kasey King and husband Devin of Chickasha, grandsons Christopher, Noah and Lennon, and her mother Nina J. Looney all of Chickasha.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Chickasha Animal Shelter at 203 N. Genevieve Ave. Chickasha, Oklahoma 73018.

Inurnment will be in the Anadarko Cemetery following the memorial service.

Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
