Dr. Frank Dorman

A viewing for Charles “Frank” Dorman, 92, of Chickasha will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Ferguson Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Following the viewing, his wishes were cremation.

Charles Franklin Dorman, known as Frank, was born February 24, 1933 in Enid, Oklahoma. He was the son of Zelma Faye (Craig) Dorman. He passed from this life on September 2, 2025 in Chickasha, Oklahoma.

Frank grew up in Enid, Oklahoma and graduated from Enid High School. He received his doctorate at OU. He was a Professor of Physics at USAO from the year 1967 until 2011.

He was preceded in death by his mother Zelma Dorman, father and a brother.

He will be remembered by his friend Deborah Voyles of Ninnekah and many students and friends from USAO.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
