The family of Bobbi D. Smith, 59, of Oklahoma City, will hold a memorial service at the Chickasha Elks Lodge on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

Bobbi D. Smith was born December 4, 1966, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Smith and Coleta M (McCluskey) Mathews. She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma surrounded by her family.

Bobbi D. Smith grew up in Chickasha and graduated from Ninnekah High School in 1985, where she played softball. She continued to play softball for many years and was inducted into the Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame while in High School.

She worked for the Postal Service as a city postal carrier and at Parham Tile as a tile setter. She enjoyed watching OU sports and loved hanging out with her family and friends.

Bobbi was preceded in death by her father William “Bob” Smith, mother Coleta Mathews, sister Sandra Meeks, and brothers-in-law Ricky Riley and Joe Meeks.

Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her sister Beth Riley and Billy King; sister Tricia Smith and Scott Smith; life partner Laura Chaney, along with David & Sarah Chaney; nephew and nieces Sean Riley, Deirik Riley, Brody Smith, Lexi Panos, Zachary Haile, Joseph Meeks, Lynsey Damico and Lucas Meeks; and special friend Tereasa Pritchard.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
