A memorial service for Billy Gene Williamson, 72, of Alex, will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Carr officiating.
Billy Gene Williamson, who went by B.G., was born April 30, 1953, in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Bill and Mollie Sue Williamson. He passed from this life Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Edmond surrounded by his family.
In June of 1977, he married Martha Klopner and they had three children and shared 3 years together before she passed.
He was the owner of Home and Commercial Services of Alex for 23 years.
Billy loved riding motorcycles, 4 wheelers, jeep climbing, and fishing. He spent many years with his daughters and grandchildren riding and fishing. One of his biggest joys was when his grandchildren had sports events. He spent years on the football fields and basketball courts, sporting the black and orange, cheering on his favorite players. After retirement, he loved woodworking projects and making crosses, and it became a second job for him. His most recent hobby was slot car building and racing. He loved going to the track with the fellas and spending time racing Scotty out at the ranch.
B.G. was preceded in death by his parents, wife Martha, and son Scott Williamson.
Loved ones left to remember him are his sister Dessie Allison of Texas; brother Danny Williamson of Oklahoma City; daughter Shannon and husband Kervin Colbert of Edmond; daughter Sandra Reeves and husband Ryan of Alex; grandchildren Koda, Zoey, Ashlynn, Kaisyn, Bentli, Riker, Braylon, Kazeyn, and Kamdyn; and two great-grandchildren; and his “boy,” Toby.
The service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
