Graveside funeral services for Billy Mac Caples, 87, of Ninnekah, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the Ninnekah Cemetery.

Billy M. Caples was born February 13, 1939, in Lufkin, Texas, the son of Fred Caples and Johny Lee (Goines) Caples. He died Saturday, July 25, 2026, in Ninnekah surrounded by his family.

Billy grew up in Lufkin, Texas and later moved to Oklahoma in 1985.

He was married to the love of his life, Evelyn Caples.

In 1999 he started and operated Caples Transportation until his retirement in 2008.

He enjoyed watching football and going fishing, Billy and Evelyn also enjoyed gardening and growing tomato’s and sold them at the farmer’s market.

Billy especially loved Cookie and Prince, his fur babies!

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, loving wife Evelyn Caples, brothers, Charles Caples, Jimmie Caples, Joe Caples; and sister, Sandra Caples-McLaren.

Survivors include his daughters; Wanda Caples-Carter of Bay Town, Texas, and Brenda Louise Caples- Sacash of Oklahoma City, stepdaughters, Crystal Jernagen of Ninnekah and Christina Kilgore and husband Mitch of Ninnekah; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and his neighbors which he considered family.

No viewing will be held.

Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
