Funeral Services:
We will assist your family in planning a funeral or memorial service and help you choose the options that suit your families needs and your loved ones wishes. We will make the arrangements in holding the services wherever your family chooses, from our chapel, to your church or at the cemetery. We will direct and help prepare a meaningful service to honor your loved one. We will listen to your family and help to arrange a celebration of your loved one's life through whatever means you choose, traditional services or cremation.
Obituaries: With the information you provide to us we will prepare an obituary to be published for your loved one. Obituaries can be with or without a picture and can be published in any newspaper upon the family's request, per that papers charges. Remember obituaries are a great asset to genelogy research.
Tribute Memory Videos: We offer memory videos on DVD, where we take 20 to 40 photos of your loved one that you provide, along with music of your choice and make a Memory Tribute Video that will honor your loved one for years and generations to come.
Social Security Benefits: We will notify the Social Security Administration of the death and we will explain any benefits you may be entitled to through Social Security.
Life Insurance: We will file life insurance policies for you. For the funeral home to take an assignment the company must: accept a funeral home assignment, the policy must be able to be verified and in good standing, the beneficiary must be available to sign the required forms and the policy has to have been in effect for over 2 years. *If you choose to pay for the services, we will gladly prepare the insurance paperwork for you and the benefit will be paid directly to the beneficiary.
Death Certificates: We will help you in obtaining certified death certificates. Certified copies are most generally required for life insurance, real estate, and banking, as well a host of other issues.
After Care: Sometimes the loss of a loved one can be especially painful. We understand that the grieving process does not end with the funeral. We are here not only to help arrange the funeral, but to help families cope with the loss of their loved one. There are a wide variety of grief resources available and we will help to point you in the right direction and begin the healing process.
